Hobsonville

Our clients wanted a home that reflected the landscape around them and the energy it embodied.

This was their home, a place where they felt connected. We settled upon a palette of light and used its shadowy depths as well as its white brilliance to convey the sharp New Zealand sun.

We used earthy, seaside-inspired textures and colors to infuse a welcoming and casual mood into the house. The herringbone pattern has been employed to transmit energy up through the house, with each point echoing upwards within the house, crafted from design to fabrication.

Gigantic slabs of porcelain grace the front entrance. The floor was designed in minute detail and hand-cut on site. Upstairs, the house is light and airy with a beautiful prayer room for the family, with glass rippling around this area casting its

multiple reflections ever upwards.

Right from the beginning of the project, we sat down with builders, architects, and the clients to establish the brief for this project. This ensured the success of the project and its stunning results.
